Aisling Bea

Aisling was born March 16 1984 in Kildare Ireland. She is one of Ireland's best-known and well-known comedians. She was seen on QI, with Stephen Fry. Aisling O'Sullivan, better known by the stage name Aisling Bea (born on 16 March 1984) is an Irish actor, writer and stand-up comic. Bea's career began in 2011 as a comedian after appearing in small part for Irish and British television shows beginning in 2009. In 2012, she began being featured in sketch comedy programs or sitcoms as well as other similar programming. After she received an award at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards in 2011 and then began appearing on numerous panel show where she is now a staple. In 2016 and 2017 she was the team leader for 8 Out of 10 Cats. She is also a contestant of 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Born in the family of Brian O'Sullivan, the actress has one sibling named Sinead. The only ever female to be a winner of the show So You Think You're Funny. Her surname honors the memory of her late father. Aisling Claiodhnadh Sullivan was born 16 March 1984 at Kildare, County Kildare. Bea's father Brian was an equine vet, who committed suicide at the age of three when Bea turned three was an suicide victim. She was told about his suicide only after the age of thirteen. Bea was her stage name. Bea was in tribute to her father. She was the author of an opinion piece for The Guardian, published in 2017, about her experience of suicide. Bea and her younger sister Sinead were taken care of by their maternal grandmother Helen (nee Moloney) who was a secondary school teacher jockey trainer and an ex-professional jockey. They were obsessed with race meetings and horses. Bea had a job as a tour guide for the Irish National Stud. From the age of a child, Bea knew that she didn't want the racing industry. Instead she loved the artistic arts.
