Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is a Mexican musician who was born into a family of musicians. Her early years were spent listening to classical music, old boleros, and traditional romantic and ranchero ballads. Ana enjoys tangos operas and other dramatic shows. At age 16 she began singing and learning music with her mother. Flavio, a Mexican famous tenor, started giving her a more intensive training in singing. Her musical education continued in the School of Music of Guadalajara University and later at the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. In her early career, she included performances with a variety of opera choruses, chamber groups and chamber groups in Guadalajara. In 2000 she moved into in the United States and sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. Then, in 2007, she settled in her home in southern California. She is currently a member of Ensemble XXI of Redlands and often performs as a soloist with the traditional Latin American music at private events. The love she has for the performing arts, music, as well as the arts keeps her engaged in local projects both as an artist and instructor. Ana is also previously a member of Community Chorus of Redlands as and members of the Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana thanks the Inland Master Choir for allowing her to perform classic Latin American song.
